Bedtime story about tidying up toys for kids who love trains

اقترب وقت النوم، لكنّ أرض غرفة مَجْد كانت مغطّاة: قطع أحجية، وأقلام تلوين، ووشاح، وعائلةٌ من الحيوانات المحشوّة. قالت ماما: «وقت الترتيب.» فتأفّف مَجْد: «الأشياء كثيرةٌ جدّاً لأحملها.» ثمّ وقعت عيناه على قطار البضائع الطويل الواقف قرب السرير.
It was nearly bedtime, but Majd's floor was covered: puzzle pieces, crayons, a scarf, and a family of soft animals. "Tidy-up time," said Mama. Majd groaned. "There's too much to carry." Then his eyes fell on the long goods train parked by the bed.
فقال مَجْد: «قطار البضائع يستطيع حملها!» ووصل العربات الخمس كلّها، ودفع القطار في أرجاء الغرفة. دخلت قطع الأحجية العربة الأولى، والأقلام الثانية، وتدلّى الوشاح على الثالثة مثل علم.
"The goods train can carry it!" Majd said. He hitched up all five wagons and pushed the train around the room. The puzzle pieces went in the first wagon, the crayons in the second, and the scarf hung over the third like a flag.
وكلّما امتلأت العربات، سار القطار إلى محطّة صندوق الألعاب، حيث أفرغ مَجْد كلّ شيءٍ في مكانه الصحيح. وكانت ماما تنادي أسماء المحطّات: «المحطّة التالية، رفّ الكتب! المحطّة التالية، علبة الأقلام!» وصارت الأرض أنظف مع كلّ رحلة.
Every time the wagons were full, the train chugged to the toy box station, where Majd unloaded everything into the right place. Mama called out the stations: "Next stop, bookshelf! Next stop, crayon pot!" The floor got clearer with every trip.
وبعد الرحلة الأخيرة عاد قطار البضائع إلى مكانه قرب السرير، فارغاً فخوراً. فدثّرته ماما وقالت: «أسرع ترتيبٍ على الإطلاق.» فنظر مَجْد إلى الأرض النظيفة وشعر بالرضا، ثمّ أغمض عينيه ونام. النهاية.
After the last trip, the goods train went back to its spot by the bed, empty and proud. Mama tucked Majd in. "Fastest tidy-up ever," she said. Majd looked at the clear floor and felt pleased. Then he closed his eyes and fell asleep. The end.
