Bedtime story about tidying up toys for kids who love animals

بعد الحمّام كانت حيوانات مزرعة مَجْد مبعثرةً في كلّ مكان: أبقارٌ تحت السرير، وخرافٌ في الخفّين، وعنزةٌ في سلّة الغسيل. قال بابا: «أوه! الظلام يحلّ على المزرعة، والحيوانات لم تعد إلى بيتها بعد.»
After bath time, Majd's toy farm animals were scattered everywhere: cows under the bed, sheep in the slippers, and a goat in the laundry basket. "Uh oh," said Baba. "It's getting dark on the farm, and the animals aren't home yet."
فلبس مَجْد حذاءه المطّاطيّ وصار المزارع. جمع الخراف أوّلاً، يقودها على السجّادة بقلمٍ كأنّه عصا الراعي، ثمّ ساق الأبقار وهو يخور بهدوءٍ كي لا تخاف، أمّا العنزة فاحتاجت إلى إقناعٍ لطيفٍ لتخرج من السلّة.
Majd put on his wellies and became the farmer. He rounded up the sheep first, guiding them across the rug with a pencil like a crook. Then he herded the cows, mooing softly so they wouldn't be scared. The goat had to be gently coaxed out of the basket.
ودخلت الحيوانات واحدةً بعد الأخرى الحظيرة الخشبيّة على الرفّ: الأحصنة في الإسطبل الكبير، والدجاجات على المجثم العلويّ، والأبقار في صفّ. وعدّها بابا: «اثنا عشر حيواناً عادت بأمان.»
One by one, the animals went into the wooden barn on the shelf. The horses got the big stable, the hens went on the top perch, and the cows lined up in a row. Baba counted them: "All twelve animals safely home."
وأغلق مَجْد باب الحظيرة وهمس: «ليلة سعيدة للجميع.» فدثّره بابا وقال: «كلّ مزارعٍ ماهرٍ يعيد حيواناته قبل الظلام.» فابتسم مَجْد للأرض المرتّبة ونام. النهاية.
Majd closed the barn door. "Goodnight, everyone," he whispered. Baba tucked him into bed. "Every good farmer gets the animals home before dark," he said. Majd smiled at the tidy floor and fell asleep. The end.
