Talk about it together: What is something good that was worth waiting for?
- الانتظار صعبٌ على الصغار. اجعلوا الوقت مرئيّاً، مثل عدّ الليالي على التقويم.
- أعطوا طفلكم شيئاً يفعله أثناء الانتظار: أغنية أو رسمة أو عدّ السيّارات.
- سمّوا الشعور: «الانتظار صعب، وأنت تنتظر بصبر».
- Waiting is hard for young children. Show time with something they can see, like sleeps on a calendar.
- Give your child something to do while waiting: a song, a drawing or counting cars.
- Name the feeling: "Waiting is hard, and you are doing it."
