قصة قبل النوم عن المشاركة وتبادل الأدوار للأطفال الذين يحبّون البحرَ وحيواناتِه

كان وقت الحمّام أحبّ جزءٍ في المساء إلى مَجْد، فعنده أسطولٌ كاملٌ من ألعاب الحمّام: قاربٌ أحمر، وبطّةٌ صفراء، وأخطبوطٌ يرشّ الماء، وحوتٌ أزرق صغير. لكنّ لولو الصغيرة كانت في الحمّام أيضاً الليلة، وكانت تريد كلّ شيء.

Bath time was Majd's favourite part of the evening. He had a whole fleet of bath toys: a red boat, a yellow duck, a squirting octopus and a little blue whale. But tonight, baby Lulu was in the bath too, and she wanted everything.

فأمسكت لولو الحوت، فاستردّه مَجْد، فتجعّد وجه لولو وبدأت تبكي. فجثت ماما قرب الحوض: «هناك أربع ألعاب وأنتما اثنان، فكيف تقسمها؟» ففكّر مَجْد: «اثنتان لكلٍّ منّا؟»

Lulu grabbed the whale. Majd grabbed it back. Lulu's face crumpled and she started to cry. Mama knelt by the bath. "There are four toys and two of you," she said. "How could you share them?" Majd thought. "Two each?"

فأعطى مَجْد لولو الحوت والبطّة، واحتفظ بالقارب والأخطبوط. ثمّ خطرت له فكرة: الحوت يدفع القارب! فدفعت لولو، ووجّه مَجْد القارب، ولعبا بالسفن معاً حتّى برد الماء.

So Majd gave Lulu the whale and the duck, and kept the boat and the octopus. Then he had an idea: the whale could give the boat a push. Lulu pushed, Majd steered, and they played ships together until the water got cool.

فلفّتهما ماما بمنشفتين دافئتين، وسرعان ما كان مَجْد في السرير مدثّراً. قالت ماما: «أحبّت لولو اللعب معك.» فابتسم مَجْد؛ لعبة السفن أجمل مع طاقم، وسرعان ما نام. النهاية.

Mama wrapped them both in warm towels, and soon Majd was tucked into bed. "Lulu loved playing with you," said Mama. Majd smiled. Playing ships was better with a crew. Soon he was asleep. The end.
