مساعد السمك غداً

قالت لينا وقت النوم: «غداً أنا مساعدة السمك في الحضانة! سأطعم ذهبيّة.»

"Tomorrow I'm the fish helper at nursery!" said Lina at bedtime. "I feed Goldie."

سألت ماما: «كم من الطعام؟» فضمّت لينا أصابعها: «رشّةٌ صغيرةٌ فقط، لا أكثر.»

"How much food?" asked Mama. Lina pinched her fingers. "Just a tiny pinch. Not more."

فتدرّبا برشّةٍ وهميّةٍ فوق الوسادة، وقالت ماما: «ممتاز، ستفرح ذهبيّة.»

They practised with a pretend pinch over the pillow. "Perfect," said Mama. "Goldie will be happy."

فتكوّرت لينا تحت الغطاء فخورةً نعسانة، وهمست: «تصبحين على خير يا ذهبيّة.» النهاية.

Lina snuggled down under the blanket, proud and sleepy. "Goodnight, Goldie," she whispered. The end.

Keep goodbyes short and warm, with the same goodbye ritual every day.
