ياسمينٌ لماما

Jasmine for Mama

كانت ماما متعبةً جدّاً الليلة، فجلست على الأريكة وأغمضت عينيها. وخطرت لمَجْد فكرة.

Mama was very tired tonight. She sat on the sofa and closed her eyes. Majd had an idea.

فقطف مع بابا ثلاث زهرات ياسمين بيضاء من الأصيص على الشرفة.

With Baba, he picked three white jasmine flowers from the pot on the balcony.

ووضعها مَجْد بلطفٍ في يد ماما وقال: «شمّي يا ماما.» فابتسمت ماما ابتسامةً كبيرة.

Majd put them gently in Mama's hand. "Smell, Mama," he said. Mama smiled a big smile.

قالت ماما: «الآن أشعر بتحسّن»، ودثّرته في السرير، وكانت الغرفة تفوح بالعطر. النهاية.

"Now I feel better," said Mama, and tucked Majd into bed. The room smelled sweet. The end.

دعوا طفلكم يراكم تعاملون الجيران والأقارب والعاملين في المتجر بلطف.
أعطوه مهمّةً صغيرةً كلّ يوم، مثل حمل الخبز أو سقي نبتة.

Notice small kind acts out loud: "You passed Teta her glasses. That was kind."
Let your child see you being kind to neighbours, cousins and shop staff.
Give one simple helping job each day, like carrying the bread or watering a plant.
