Tomorrow Lina would start at a new school, and all evening she had been quieter than usual. After bath, instead of reading, she sat on the bedroom floor and arranged her toy cars in a careful circle. Baba came in and sat down beside her. "What's happening here?" he asked. "It's a school," said Lina, without looking up. "And this one," she held up a scratched little green car, "is new. Nobody knows it. It's not sure it wants to go in."
