قصة قبل النوم للبنات عن المشاركة وتبادل الأدوار، لكلّ بنتٍ تحبّ القطارات

دثّرها بابا، ووضع القطار الصغير على الطاولة بجانب كوب الماء، وسأل: «إلى أين يذهب القطار الليلة؟» قالت لينا: «إلى النجوم.» فقبّلها بابا قبلة النوم، وبعد قليلٍ كانت لينا تحلم بقطارٍ فضّيٍّ طويلٍ ينساب في الليل.

Baba tucked Lina in and set the little toy train on the bedside table, next to the glass of water. "Where's the train going tonight?" he asked. "To the stars," said Lina. Baba kissed her goodnight, and soon Lina was dreaming of a long silver train gliding through the night.

في الحلم جلست لينا في أفضل مقعدٍ في العربة، قرب النافذة الكبيرة، حيث تمرّ النجوم مثل اليراعات. ثمّ دخل دبٌّ صغيرٌ بوشاحٍ مقلّم، ووقف على أطراف أصابعه وقال بحزن: «لم أرَ النجوم من قطارٍ أبداً، وكلّ المقاعد قرب النوافذ مشغولة.»

In the dream, Lina had the best seat in the carriage, right by the big window, where the stars streamed past like fireflies. Then a small bear in a striped scarf shuffled in and stood on tiptoe. "I've never seen the stars from a train," it said sadly. "All the window seats are taken."

فنظرت لينا إلى النجوم، ثمّ إلى الدبّ؛ كان المقعد يتّسع لاثنين إن تزحزحت قليلاً. فقالت: «تعال واجلس معي، نتشارك.» فتسلّق الدبّ، وألصقا أنفيهما بالزجاج، يشيران إلى الشهب والأقمار الناعسة.

Lina looked at the stars, then at the bear. The seat was big enough for two if she squeezed up. "Come and sit with me," she said. "We can share." The bear climbed up, and they pressed their noses to the glass, pointing out shooting stars and sleepy moons.

وقال الدبّ وهو يتدثّر بجانب ذراع لينا: «المشاركة تجعل المنظر أجمل مرّتين.» وتمايل القطار برفق، وخفتت النجوم. وفي السرير الحقيقيّ تقلّبت في النوم لينا وابتسمت، وبقيت نائمةً حتّى الصباح. النهاية.

"Sharing makes the view twice as nice," said the bear, snuggling against Lina's arm. The train rocked softly, and the stars grew dim. In her real bed, Lina turned over, smiled in her sleep, and slept on until morning. The end.
