Lina wasn't sure about baby Yusuf yet. He was sweet, sometimes, but mostly he slept, cried, or needed changing, and everyone seemed to think he was fascinating. Tonight, Mama asked if Lina would help her with a project for Yusuf's cot. She nearly said no. Then Mama added, "I was thinking a space mobile. And you know more about space than anyone in this house." That was true. Lina sighed, but went to fetch the craft box. They spread newspaper over the kitchen table, and Mama got out card, paint, string and a wooden embroidery hoop.
