Lately, everything in the house seemed to be about the baby. There was a new cot in Mama and Baba's room, a pile of tiny vests on the chair, and Mama's tummy was so big that she couldn't sit on the floor and play dinosaurs any more. At bedtime, Mama lay down next to Majd instead. "Feel this," she said, putting his hand on her tummy. Something pushed back. "Your little brother or sister is saying hello."
