هذه قصةٌ تجريبيّةٌ مجانيّة بطلتُها لينا (3 سنوات). في «تصبح» تُكتب القصة باسم طفلتكم وعلى قدر عمرها، بصيغة البنت الصحيحة، ويمكن الاستماع إليها.

لينا تغنّي للطفل

كانت الصغيرة لولو تبكي: «واااء!» هزّتها ماما، لكنّها لم تتوقّف. فسدّت لينا أذنيها.

Baby Lulu was crying. "Waaah!" Mama rocked her, but she would not stop. Lina covered her ears.

ثمّ خطرت للينا فكرة: رفعت ديناصورها الصغير وغنّت بهدوء: «يا ديناصوري الصغير، نم يا نعسان...»

Then Lina had an idea. She held up her toy dinosaur and sang softly, "Little dino, sleepy head..."

فتوقّفت لولو عن البكاء، ونظرت إلى الديناصور وابتسمت. قالت ماما: «لقد ساعدتِ! يا لكِ من أختٍ كبيرةٍ رائعة.»

Lulu stopped crying. She looked at the dinosaur and smiled. "You helped!" said Mama. "What a lovely big sister."

وبعد قليلٍ نامت لولو، ووضعها بابا في السرير وهمس: «تصبحين على خير يا أختها الكبيرة.» النهاية.

Soon Lulu was asleep, and Baba tucked Lina into bed. "Goodnight, big sister," he whispered. The end.

سؤالٌ نتحدّث عنه بعد القصة: ماذا سنعلّم المولود عندما يكبر؟

Talk about it together: What will we teach the baby when they are bigger?

خصّصوا كلّ يومٍ وقتاً قصيراً لطفلكم الأكبر وحده معكم.
أعطوه مهمّاتٍ حقيقيّة، مثل اختيار جوارب المولود أو الغناء له.
المشاعر المختلطة طبيعيّة. دعوا طفلكم يقول «أشتاق إلى الوقت الذي كنتُ فيه وحدي» دون أن تلوموه.

Keep a little special time each day with your older child, just the two of you.
Give real helper jobs, like choosing the baby's socks or singing to them.
Mixed feelings are normal. Let your child say "I miss when it was just me" without telling them off.
