Baba had a secret talent that only came out at bedtime: shadow animals. Tonight, after the story, he switched off the lamp, propped his big torch on a pile of books, and began. A rabbit appeared on the wall and nibbled the curtain. A wolf threw back its head and howled. An eagle swooped across the ceiling. Lina watched, enchanted, and then her enthusiasm got the better of her. "I want to do one! Give me the torch!" She grabbed it, the books toppled, and the beam went swinging wildly round the room.
