Tomorrow was Eid! Teta came to make ma'amoul, the Eid biscuits. Cousin Sami came too.

There was only one wooden mould. Sami wanted it. Lina wanted it too!

"Let's take turns," said Lina. "One for you, one for me." Press, tap, out came a pretty biscuit!

Then Mama gave Lina a bath and tucked her into bed. Eid Mubarak, Lina. The end.

Talk about it together: What made us happiest this Eid?

Excitement can make sleep hard on the night before Eid. A slow thankful-breathing game helps.
Talk about sharing Eid joy: giving a sweet to a cousin, or a gift to a child who has less.
Let your child help get ready: laying out new clothes or filling the ma'amoul.
